Designed and manufactured by Brunner in Bavaria the designer inbuilt refractory kit of the Brunner BSK06 and BSK08 allows an uncomplicated, cost effective and safe installation.
The Process
Out with the old, in with the new.
Our old-fashioned open Fireplace was dismantled to make room for a Brunner BSK Panorama, the Brunner's design allowed 800 kg of thermal mass to be installed within a day. The exposed flue not only makes the fireplace less bulky but increases efficiency as the heat of the flue can also be harvested.
The refractory concrete section of the BSK was finished with a stone cladding adding even more thermal mass. By using the BSK System we not only saved on the installation cost bust the speed of the actual installation saved weeks in constructions.
Natural convection is moving effortless throughout the house while the thermal mass of the heater radiant heat once charged even without the need to keep the fire going, and all of it with a minimum amount of firewood.
BSK - Brunner System Kamin
Designed to make an uncomplicated installation possible that can be done by the builder or owner without compromising the quality of the installation you will get by a trained installer. The overall costs are kept to a minimum when compared to a custom installation from scratch that requires not only an expensive labour intensive process but also in many cases costly heat proof installation materials.
